I've Lost You Love is a Universal emotion, the goal many seek, the prize that make our lives complete and whole. Love is both timeless and, in too many instances, transient. We all believe, if only because we must, that love can be found. Some of us -- maybe most of us -- have discovered it can also be lost. Love and loss are recurring themes in all lives. Somehow we find a way to move on. This beautiful piece is a glimpse into another's heart and soul, revealing truths learned through the joy and pain of love. Performed at the VJC Auditorium (Singapore) in 2001 (debut performance), at the "Eighty-8" Concert organised by the Piano Ensemble. This piece clinched the 2nd prize at the VJC Music Festival 2001, in the "Creative Song Writing" category.
Moving On Life, we know, is full of choices. And so, too, is Love. Many times, we get trapped in our past and struggle to break free. We find ourselves clinging to the very memories and people that torment and cripple us, hesitating to take that first step into uncertainty — a different journey, a different destination that could mean happiness or regret and a lifetime of looking back. We wonder if we would ever find that love again and if that minefield of hurt and pain will ever go away. Yet sometimes, we must steel ourselves and muster the strength to simply trust God, let go, and move on. Performed in London, International Hall, in 2005, for the "IH Talentime". ...
Hopeless Tears When hope seems impossible, and the world seems to come crashing down on us, tears are all that can be expressed. Tears can reveal so much about us, probably that is why many of us hide them behind a broken heart. Sometimes, tears say all that can be said, and understanding comes only with time. Performed at the VJC Auditorium (Singapore) in 2002, at the "Eighty-8" Concert organised by the Piano Ensemble. This piece clinched the 2nd prize at "Bethesda Eternity Talentime" held by Bethesda Chapel Singapore in 2002
